MANHATTAN — IN A COURT MEMO filed Monday in response to Mayor Eric Adams’ request for more information about the evidence in his bribery case, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York said that law enforcement has uncovered “additional criminal conduct” by the mayor, Gothamist reports. While prosecutors didn’t specify what that conduct was, the memo said officials have uncovered more crimes and more criminal accomplices. Prosecutors want to keep the names of these alleged co-conspirators under wraps, however. “The indictment provides ample cause to believe that as potential witnesses became known to Adams and his allies, measures were taken to influence their testimony,” prosecutors wrote, according to Gothamist.

His trial is slated for April; Adams has pleaded not guilty.
