SUNSET PARK — TWO QUICK-THINKING POLICE OFFICERS from Sunset Park were called to help a 22-day-old baby who was choking on milk, abc7ny reports. Officers Zhihan Liu and Jeshua Hernandez responded to a 43rd Street home at 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 27 and arrived to find the baby girl unconscious. Liu and Hernandez performed infant CPR, which loosened the blockage caused by the choking. EMS responders took the baby to a local hospital, and she has fully recovered. “I keep thinking what if this doesn’t work, what if this doesn’t work,” Liu told abc7ny.

Dramatic police body-cam video of the rescue can be seen on the abc7ny webs
