Two found dead in plane wheel well after flight from JFK

FLORIDA — TWO MEN ON Monday night were discovered deceased in the wheel well of a JetBlue plane that had flown from JFK Airport to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, reports the New York Post. The plane began its flight schedule on Monday morning from the island of Jamaica. It is believed the victims may have boarded the plane there. Law enforcement sources told the Post that the bodies were “badly decomposed,” and that their identities are not yet known. The airline, along with local and federal agencies, is investigating the incident.

“This is a heartbreaking situation, and we are committed to working closely with authorities to support their efforts to understand how this occurred,” JetBlue said in a statement.
