Headphone snatchers sought by NYPD
CITYWIDE — POLICE ARE SEARCHING FOR two men wanted in connection with a pattern of headphone snatchings in Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens. The incidents took place between Christmas Day and Dec. 30. The suspects approached their victims — all women in their 20s — from behind, snatched their headphones and fled. In Brooklyn, one incident took place in Bushwick at DeKalb and Wilson avenues, and another in Brownsville at Fulton and Cleveland streets. In Manhattan, one snatching occurred on West 19th Street and 5th Avenue. Another took place in Jamaica, Queens, at Sutphin Boulevard and 95th Avenue.
