Queens man, 41, shot and killed in Coney Island

CONEY ISLAND — POLICE HAVE IDENTIFIED a man shot and killed Sunday morning in Coney Island as Shamael Miller, 41, a resident of the Briarwood neighborhood in Queens. At about 7:19 a.m., police responded to a 911 call about an unconscious man discovered shot in the vicinity of Neptune Avenue and West 33 Street. Upon arrival, the officers found that the victim had been shot multiple times.  EMS transported Miller to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn, where he was pronounced deceased.

There are no arrests at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.
