Two men found dead in parked car in Midwood

MIDWOOD — POLICE DISCOVERED TWO MEN deceased from an apparent drug overdose inside a red sedan near 10th Street and Avenue O on Wednesday afternoon. One man was 38; the other appeared to be in his 30s. The Shomrim neighborhood watch, who first saw the bodies, alerted the NYPD, according to the New York Daily News. First responders confirmed no visible trauma and pronounced the men deceased at the scene. The sedan was parked next to a fire hydrant in the middle of the block.

“The police said they had overdosed. It’s crazy. I was just trying to keep my kids away from the scene,” one neighbor told the Daily News.
