Police seek man who smashed stranger’s face, broke his teeth
SUNSET PARK — POLICE HAVE RELEASED a photo of a man suspected of striking a stranger in the face multiple times with a metal object, causing numerous lacerations and broken teeth. According to an NYPD report, the attack happened in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, on Sunday, Nov. 17 at roughly 10:15 p.m. The 53-year-old male victim was on 53rd Street between 7th and 8th avenues, a residential block, when the unidentified man approached him and a physical fight broke out. The assailant struck the victim in the face repeatedly with the metal object, then fled in an unknown direction, police said. The victim was transported by EMS to NYU Langone Medical Center in stable condition.
