Who qualifies for congestion pricing discounts?

CITYWIDE — SEVERAL CATEGORIES OF DRIVERS are eligible for congestion pricing discounts or even total relief, according to MTA. These include low-income vehicle owners, who can receive a 50% discount on the peak toll after ten full-toll trips a month; low-income residents of the zone, who may qualify for a state tax credit equal to the amount paid; and persons whose disabilities prevent them from using mass transit, who may apply for complete exemptions. An E-ZPass NY account is required for all discounts.
