Shepherd Glenmore housing lottery opens in East New York
EAST NEW YORK — THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING LOTTERY for Shepherd Glenmore, a seven-story, mixed-use building at 365 Shepherd Avenue in East New York, Brooklyn, is now accepting applications, New York YIMBY reports. The development, designed by MHG Architects and led by Lois Murphy of Shepherd Glenmore HDFC, offers 123 residences. Of these, 40 are available on NYC Housing Connect for households earning 30 to 60% of the area median income (AMI), with eligibility ranging from $21,566 to $100,620. Amenities include a fitness center, computer lab, community rooms, landscaped courtyard with a garden and more.
Monthly rents range from $544 for studios at 30% AMI to $1,864 for two-bedroom units at 60% AMI. Applications are due by Feb. 24, 2025 on Housing Connect.
