Fire at Brownsville’s Langston Hughes public housing complex
BROWNSVILLE — AN APARTMENT AT NYCHA’S Langston Hughes Houses caught fire in the early morning on Tuesday, Dec. 24, with one person critically injured and eight others suffering minor injuries, News12 Brooklyn reported. The fire affected a building with 20 apartments, and 78 emergency personnel responded.
News12 Brooklyn reported that smoke residue could be seen above the windows of the burnt apartment, with Christmas decorations still visible.
