Someone is dumping gross liquids on sidewalk passersby in Williamsburg
WILLIAMSBURG — FRUSTRATED PEDESTRIANS ARE REPORTING that a curmudgeonly resident in a Williamsburg apartment building on Kent Avenue is pouring liquids on passersby as they pass under their window, the New York Post reports. Many say that the substance smells like a chlorine-and bleach mix, which can produce chemical burns. Other residents have said that eggs, glass objects and used cooking oil have been dropped on them from the window. The NYPD entered the building, but could not force open the door of the unit where the substances and objects were being dropped.
“Fortunately, it was only my jacket that got ruined … unfortunately, is it going to take something really bad and dangerous for something to happen?” one victim told the Post.
