DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN — YET ANOTHER PERSON has been struck by a subway train in an incident that has suspended service between the Jay Street MetroTech and Broadway Junction stations, according to alerts sent out around 2:45 p.m. from Notify NYC and the MTA. The MTA reported that emergency teams responded to someone who was struck by a train near Hoyt-Schermerhorn Sts., and C service was suspended between Brooklyn and Manhattan in both directions. The emergency also affected A train service, which was suspended south of Jay Street.

The MTA expected delays on southbound F trains while they shared the track with rerouted trains, and further changes or delays continued through the evening rush hour.
