Man slashed in DUMBO’s York Street station

DUMBO — A 50-YEAR-OLD MAN WAS SLASHED in DUMBO’s York Street subway station around 10 p.m. on Friday, according to News 12 Brooklyn. The victim was walking on the platform, when another man began punching him, finally slashing him in the face. The victim is reportedly in stable condition; the incident is under investigation.

“I didn’t really think that something like that would happen in this neighborhood,” said one commuter to News 12. “It’s usually very quiet after six,” he continued.
