Suspect in stabbing of Chabad Lubavitch man arrested

CROWN HEIGHTS — DETECTIVES FROM THE 71ST Precinct of the NYPD have arrested a suspect for a stabbing on President Street. The incident occurred before 1:30 p.m. last Monday, prompting the Hatzalah ambulance service to rush the victim to Kings County Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery. The arrest, made more than a week later, was coordinated with assistance from Crown Heights Shomrim’s surveillance team, which provided crucial photos and video footage for the investigation.

The location of the stabbing is known as the Rubashkin house, according to CrownHeights.info; the owner is well-known in the community for hosting charitable events and celebrations.
