Councilmember Zhuang partners with local organizations to brighten Christmas for children

BENSONHURST — KIDS WILL RECEIVE AN EARLY CHRISTMAS, thanks to City Councilmember Susan Zhuang and local non-profits, who have teamed up for her 500 Toys for 500 Kids Holiday Toy Drive Giveaway. Councilmember Zhuang will host this event at her District 43 office on 20th Avenue on Sunday morning, Dec. 22. Non-profit organizations and community members have donated hundreds of toys this holiday season for children in need. Even Santa Claus will be present to help hand out the toys to hundreds of children who have pre-registered through the Councilmember’s office.

Sponsoring organizations include the Chinese-American Social Services Center, the United Cultural Association, UA3 Community First, Il Central/Federation of Italian American Organizations (FIAO Brooklyn), the Edith & Carl Marks Jewish Community Center of Bensonhurst and Alpha Law.
