MANHATTAN – TOP MAYOR ADAMS AIDE Ingrid Lewis-Martin surrendered to authorities in Manhattan Criminal Court on Thursday morning, reports the New York Post. Lewis-Martin, who resigned from her post abruptly on Sunday, was expected to be charged with bribery over allegations that she supported a construction project in exchange for a loan of $100,000 to her son to buy a Porsche. These charges result from a wide-ranging federal investigation into Mayor Adams and members of his administration that has resulted in over a dozen high-profile resignations and firings in the past year; Lewis-Martin’s phone was seized and her home raided by investigators last September. She strongly denied the allegations at a Monday press conference.

Lewis-Martin’s son, Glenn Lewis II, is a performer who goes by “DJ Suave Luciano,” and has previously performed at the city’s Rise Up NYC concert series, according to the Post.
