Progress chugging along at The Brook, Downtown Brooklyn tower
DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN — THE BROOK, A 601-FOOT TALL skyscraper in the real estate development hub of Downtown Brooklyn, is approaching its full-facade completion, New York YIMBY says. The 51-story, 557,973-square-foot building will include 591 rental units, with 30% of them affordable, as well as 68,693 square feet of retail space and two amenity floors. The development, which sits at the intersection of Fulton Street and Flatbush Avenue, is also linked to a separate low-rise retail building at 555 Fulton Street on Albee Square, which has not yet begun construction.
There is a temporarily closed entrance to the DeKalb Avenue station within the construction area. Construction at the Brook is expected to be complete by September of 2025.
