FLATBUSH — OFFICERS FROM THE NYPD’s 67th Precinct, which covers Little Haiti and East Flatbush, stopped a vehicle after it was seen driving recklessly, speeding and nearly hitting a pedestrian, according to a post on the NYPD’s official X account from Dec. 16. A loaded gun and high-capacity magazine were recovered during the stop.

Every illegal gun removed is “a potential life saved,” the NYPD wrote, also expressing a commitment to community safety.
