Last-mile warehouse on Red Hook waterfront sells for $156M

RED HOOK — A 312,000-SQUARE-FOOT last-mile distribution center on the Red Hook waterfront was purchased on Wednesday by Terreno Realty Corporation, an owner and operator of industrial real estate, for roughly $156.3 million, according to Businesswire. The 16-acre property at 280 Richards St. near IKEA is currently leased to Amazon. It includes numerous loading docks, water access and parking for 349 cars.

The purchase price includes the assumption of an approximately $72.9 million, 3.85% interest-only loan which matures in March 2028, Businesswire reports.
