Councilmember Zhuang launches holiday toy drive

BATH BEACH/BENSONHURST — DECLARING THAT “ALL CHILDREN DESERVE JOY this holiday season,” City Councilmember Susan Zhuang launched her holiday toy drive with a press conference on Monday, Dec. 9. She teamed up with local non-profit organizations, including United Cultural Association based in Sunset Park, to kick off her “500 Toys for 500 Kids Holiday Toy Drive” and invited the community to bring donations of new, unwrapped toys, which are being accepted at the District 43 Office located at 6514 20th Avenue until Saturday, Dec. 21.

Zhuang is a first-term councilmember in the recently-created District 43 to serve a major Asian population in southern Brooklyn.
