CITY HALL — MAYOR ERIC ADAMS conducted a rapid-fire round of talk show interviews Friday morning to celebrate the passage on Thursday of his signature “City of Yes for Housing Opportunity” zoning plan, which aims to enable the creation of 80,000 new homes over the next 15 years. The bill, which had been modified after an extensive public review process and intense debate, passed the City Council 31-20. It represents a concrete victory for the indicted mayor, who faces considerable headwinds in the next election.

According to his public schedule, between the hours of 7 and 8 a.m. Friday morning, Adams was set to appear live on NY1’s “Mornings on 1,”  NPR’s “Morning Edition,” the “PIX11 Morning News,” 1010 WINS’ “Morning Drive” and CNBC’s “Squawk Box.”
