10th annual Fort Greene tree lighting and festivities this weekend

FORT GREENE — THE MYRTLE AVENUE BROOKLYN PARTNERSHIP and Fort Greene Park Conservancy will be conducting the 10th Annual Fort Greene Holiday Tree Lighting on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Fort Greene Park at Myrtle Avenue and St. Edwards Street. There will be free hot cocoa provided by Collective Fare, letter writing to Santa, live holiday music and a lighting of the “Big Tree.”

The Myrtle Avenue Brooklyn Partnership will also be hosting a gift drive of new, unwrapped toys for children who live in the Ingersoll and Whitman houses.
