Person hit by train, 2 and 5 delayed

FLATBUSH – A SUBWAY TRAIN struck a person on Friday afternoon near the Flatbush Avenue – Brooklyn College 2 and 5 train terminus, according to an MTA report. The authority announced that southbound service for the two trains on that line would be temporarily suspended in Brooklyn while EMS responded to the situation, but at 2:40 p.m. updated riders that service had resumed at scheduled stops, with severe delays in both directions. Further information on the person hit was not made available. 

Separately, the authority announced that 4 and 5 service is delayed due to a train being removed at Bowling Green for cleaning.
