Man beaten and robbed of iPhone on N train in Sunset Park
SUNSET PARK — POLICE HAVE RELEASED PHOTOS of several of the suspects who beat up a 27-year-old man and stole his iPhone 16 Pro Max, while on board an N train at 36th Street in Sunset Park. The attack took place at about 10:45 p.m. on Nov. 9. According to the NYPD, six unidentified men punched and pushed the victim multiple times, causing a laceration to his lip and pain and swelling to his head, before forcibly removing his iPhone and fleeing. The victim was transported to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn in stable condition. The Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max went on sale Sept. 20, and can range in cost from roughly $1,200 to more than $2,400 without carrier lockins, depending on configuration.
