East New York daycare caught fire Tuesday morning

EAST NEW YORK — A DAYCARE AT 715 HENDRIX STREET and New Lots Avenue caught fire around 8 a.m. on Tuesday morning, Patch reports. The fire broke out within the walls of the second floor of Terry’s Little Teddy Bears Group Family Daycare. The flames were extinguished by 60 FDNY personnel by 8:45 a.m.

According to the daycare’s website, they have been operating for over 17 years. The business is headed by Director Terry Stephenson.
