Danish church to hold ‘julmarked’ Christmas Fair
BROOKLYN HEIGHTS – THE DANISH SEAMEN’S CHURCH is set to hold its annual “julmarked” holiday festival this weekend at its Brooklyn Heights location, offering traditional foods, crafts and festivities to parishioners and locals alike, reports the Brooklyn Heights Blog. The fair will offer Scandinavian gifts like knits and Christmas tree ornaments, as well as a market for Danish candy and holiday foods. The church will also be serving up puffed apple pancakes and its usual highlight, traditional hot mulled wine in its cozy backyard.
The church’s market will be held on Saturday, Nov. 23 and Sunday, Nov. 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both days, at 102 Willow Street in Brooklyn Heights. Admission is free, items and food can be bought.
