Winter coat drive to benefit families in Brooklyn’s School District 13

BOERUM HILL/BROOKLYN HEIGHTS — DROP OFF NEW or gently used coats for kids (sizes 4-16) and adults to support families in District 13’s high-needs schools, in neighborhoods including Bedfored-Stuyvesant, Clinton Hill, Boerum Hill, Brooklyn Heights and Vinegar Hill. There are two coat drop-off locations: Councilmember Lincoln Restler’s office at 410 Atlantic Ave. in Boerum Hill, and the Brooklyn Heights Synagogue at 131 Remsen St. Drop-off hours are Monday-Friday from 9:30 a.m.- 5 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m.-noon.

The coat drive runs through Wednesday, Nov. 27.
