Man arrested in fatal Cypress Hills slashings
CYPRESS HILLS – POLICE ON MONDAY arrested Kerry Lewis, 46, of Cypress Hills, and charged him with first-degree murder in the deaths of Roosevelt Simmons, 91, and Jacqueline Delyons, 66. On Sunday, police found Simmons and Delyons following a 911 call; the two were discovered deceased in the kitchen of their Warwick Street house with slashing wounds to the neck. Kerry is also a resident at the same dwelling. The New York Post reports that Lewis was the boyfriend of Delyons.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
