The Brooklyn Bar Association is set to host a Wine Tasting Night with food pairings on Wednesday, Nov. 13, at its historic Remsen Street headquarters in Brooklyn Heights. Organized by past presidents Joseph Rosato and Hon. Frank Seddio, the event promises to offer a relaxed atmosphere for BBA members to connect over fine wine and cuisine.

Wine will be provided by Federico Zanella of Vias Imports Ltd., while the food comes from Vinney’s of Carroll Gardens. Tickets are $100 per person, covering both wine and food.

Rosato and Seddio, both well-known figures in Brooklyn’s legal and political circles, bring more than leadership to the table. The two have built a reputation for their culinary skills, often teaming up to prepare meals for events. Seddio’s annual gathering at his Canarsie home regularly draws prominent political figures, with attendees raving about the food — a collaborative effort between the judge and Rosato, his trusted prep cook.

The pair’s ability to foster camaraderie extends beyond the kitchen. Two years ago, they hosted a barbecue outside the Brooklyn Supreme Court, an event that drew a large crowd and further cemented their status as community builders within the borough’s legal community.

This upcoming Wine Tasting Night is expected to continue that tradition, offering a chance for members to enjoy good company, great food, and exceptional wine in a casual setting.
