BOROUGHWIDE — THE BROOKLYN ARTS COUNCIL HAS EXTENDED ITS GRANT APPLICATION DEADLINE until 11:59 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 11, the non-profit agency announced on Thursday. A variety of BAC grant programs support local creatives, collectives and small arts organizations whose work enhances the cultural climate of the borough, city, state and nation.

Interested parties can apply now for grants through the Brooklyn Arts Fund, Charlene Victor & Ella J. Weiss Cultural Entrepreneur Fund, Creative Equations Fund, Local Arts Support, and Social Innovation Fellowship programs. Grants range from $2,500 to $10,000, depending on the program. Fellows receive a participation stipend of $1,500. More information on the grant descriptions and objectives is available on BAC’s website: www.brooklynartscouncil.org/what-we-do/grants

Because the new deadline falls during a holiday weekend, BAC wants to alert applicants that no administrative support will be available over the three-day weekend. The Grants team will be available only until 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, even though applicants have until 11:59 p.m. on Monday, Veterans Day, to submit applications.
