The New York State Commission on Legislative, Judicial and Executive Compensation will convene on Thursday to evaluate potential salary increases for state judges, legislators, and executive officials. The meeting, set for noon at the New York City Bar Association, is open to the public but will not include public testimony.

Chaired by retired Judge Eugene Fahey, the commission comprises Helene Blank, Theresa Egan, Nadine Fontaine, Victor Kovner, Robert Megna and retired Judge Jeremy Weinstein. The group meets every four years to assess compensation and issue recommendations, which automatically become law unless modified by the legislature.

A live webcast of the meeting will be available. Public inquiries can be sent by email or to the commission’s office at 64 Beaver Street, Box 454, New York, N.Y. 10004.
