Police are searching for early morning thief in Sunset Park
SUNSET PARK — THE NEW YORK POLICE DEPARTMENT is searching for the perpetrator of an early morning robbery in Sunset Park on Sunday, reports Patch. At around 5 a.m. at the intersection of 3rd Avenue and 32nd Street, an unknown individual approached a 25-year-old man, hit the victim in the head with an object and held a knife to the victim’s throat. The attacker then robbed the victim of his cellphone and money before fleeing to parts unknown. The victim was transported to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn and treated for head injuries.
The suspect is described as male, with a medium complexion and slim build, and was last seen wearing a black hoodie, light blue jeans and black sneakers.
