BBP pop-up ice rink opening soon

DUMBO – TICKETS ARE NOW on sale for Brooklyn Bridge Park’s upcoming pop-up Roebling Rink ice arena, which will be located on the pedestrian plaza under the bridge. The rink will be open daily from Nov. 25 to Feb. 2, weather permitting, with hours from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday to Sunday. Roebling Rink, featuring scenic views of the Manhattan skyline, is also one of the most affordable ice-skating options in the city, according to BBP: skate sessions cost $10, skate rentals cost $7, helmet rentals are $3 and “skate buddy” standing aids are $5. Brooklyn residents can also score free skate sessions at selected times.
