CARROLL GARDENS – LUCALI OWNER MARK Iacono is serious about his family’s Yankees allegiance, reports the New York Post: Iacono last week personally nixed a reservation at his popular pizzeria –  much loved by other Yankees fans – for the Los Angeles Dodgers, whose friendly rivalry with the Yankees extends back to well before the Dodgers left Brooklyn for California in 1957.  The L.A. team was in town to play the Yankees in the World Series; the Dodgers ultimately walked away as the 4-1 champs following a tightly contested Game 5, propelled by a stellar pitching lineup.

“My father would have been turning in his grave,” Iacono told the Post. “No pizza for [Dodgers pitcher Shohei] Ohtani here.”
