Jewish man slashed near Atlantic Terminal

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN – POLICE ARE SEARCHING for an unidentified suspect who on the morning of Tuesday, Oct. 29, approached a 30-year-old man outside of the 300 Ashland shopping complex near Atlantic Terminal, then cursed at the victim and slashed him in the face before fleeing on foot. EMS responded and transported the victim to Maimonides Medical Center in stable condition. COL Live reports that the attacker was wearing a ski mask and yelled “hateful rhetoric” at the victim, who is Jewish; police did not confirm whether the attack was being investigated as a hate crime.
