Halloween Spooktacular at Montague Open Streets
BROOKLYN HEIGHTS — THE SEASON’S LAST Montague Open Streets weekend will be a Halloween-themed blowout! Businesses along the street will be open for trick-or-treating between noon and 3 p.m., while McMullen Architecture will offer a build-your-own-haunted-house booth from noon to 5 p.m. Haunt HQ is at the Montague Diner, which is hosting a day-long schedule of events, including a dog costume contest, pumpkin- and face-painting, a spooky singalong and storytime, and seasonal refreshments. The New York Blood Center’s BloodMobile will also be posted at St. Ann’s Church, and is offering O-type donors a $20 gift card.
Montague Open Streets will take place on Sunday, Oct. 27, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. A full schedule of events is available online on the Montague BID’s website. The event is sponsored by the Montague Street BID, the Brooklyn Heights Association and NYC DOT.
