Complaints after street in Borough Park dug up four times in eight months
BOROUGH PARK — ‘GOVERNMENT BUREAUCRACY AT ITS WORST’ is how Assemblymember Simcha Eichenstein put it after his street in Brooklyn has been repeatedly dug up, repaved and torn apart again—at least four times in the past eight months, BoroPark24 reports. Eichenstein said in a post on X that yet another construction project is set to begin Friday, on a street that was just repaved five weeks ago.
“Why can’t city agencies coordinate to avoid repetitive work and spare taxpayers’ dollars?” Eichenstein asked.
