Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs on suicide watch in Brooklyn’s ‘hellhole’ jail

SUNSET PARK — SEAN ‘DIDDY’ COMBS is on suicide watch as he remains incarcerated at Brooklyn’s squalid Metropolitan Detention Center, PEOPLE reports. Combs, 54, was arrested in Manhattan on Monday, Sept. 16, and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution. He was remanded to MDC the next day after pleading not guilty. Sources told PEOPLE that the watch is a preventative measure as “Combs is in shock and his mental state is unclear.”

Several judges have refused to send inmates to MDC — widely described as a “hellhole” — because of its “dangerous, barbaric conditions,” the Daily Beast reports.
