Police Investigation suspends two subway lines in Brooklyn
PARK SLOPE/MTA — THE F and G TRAINS IN BROOKLYN are “severely disrupted” between the Church Ave. and Bedford-Nostrand Avenue stations, according to Notify NYC, which issued an alert just after 11 a.m. and the MTA’s website. Police are investigating an incident at the 4th Av-9 St. station in Park Slope. In addition to the G train suspension, northbound F service is suspended all the way from Coney Island-Stillwell Av to Jay St-MetroTech, although the MTA announced that some northbound F trains are running via the D line from Coney Island-Stillwell Ave to Broadway-Lafayette St. Some southbound F trains end at either 2nd Ave. in Manhattan or Jay St-MetroTech in Downtown Brooklyn.
As of 11:39 a.m., Notify NYC issued another alert that the police investigation is still underway.
