Suspect on the loose in attempted rape of 75-year-old woman in Brooklyn

EAST FLATBUSH — POLICE HAVE RELEASED a surveillance video of a man they are searching for in the attempted rape of a 75-year-old woman in East Flatbush. Police said the man approached the woman in the vicinity of Tilden and Brooklyn avenues on Thursday, Sept. 5 at roughly 6:30 a.m. and attempted to sexually assault her. He then fled on foot, traveling westbound on Tilden Avenue. The victim was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County in stable condition. The suspect is described as having a slim build and medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, a brown T-shirt, gray pants and sneakers.
