Amid a swirl of investigations, Adams compares himself to beleaguered Old Testament figure
EAST NEW YORK — MAYOR ERIC ADAMS visited two Brooklyn houses of worship on Sunday, days after the FBI raided the homes of two deputy mayors and seized the phones of top police officials in a dizzying series of multiple investigations, amNY reported. Talking to the congregation of Changing Lives Christian Center at 1848 Linden Blvd., Adams compared his trials and tribulations to that of Job, the Old Testament figure tested by God with a series of disasters. “I’m just in my Job moment,” Adams said. “And when you come out of your Job moment and your faith is intact, you will receive blessings tenfold.”
Four pastors placed their hands on Adams and uttered an incantation to cast away evil curses, amNY reported. “I bind every demonic force, every curse that’s been leveled from every witch and every warlock,” Pastor Mitchell said.
