The Tulsa, Oklahoma-born St. Vincent (whose birth name is Anne Erin Clark) has been praised for her melodic style and use of distortion. Several publications have named St. Vincent as one of the 21st century’s best rock and indie guitarists.
The Eagle reported on a sneak-peak inside the March 27, 2024, reopening of the grandiose Brooklyn Paramount theater, a bastion of Brooklyn culture. The theater was reconverted back into a theater through a partnership between Long Island University and Live Nation.
