Brooklyn Chamber hosts annual ‘Not-for-Profit Summit’ Sept. 12

DOWNTOWN — THE BROOKLYN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE’S 2024 Not-For-Profit Summit takes place at Saint Francis College in Downtown Brooklyn on Thursday, Sept. 12, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The free, annual event brings together leaders and innovators from the nonprofit sector to discuss and explore new trends, challenges, and opportunities. Attendees will also gain valuable insights into the role Artificial Intelligence can play in the nonprofit sector. This year’s theme is “Stand Out & Thrive: Strategies for Nonprofits to Shine in a Crowded Market,” the Chamber said in a release. Keynote speaker is Johnny Celestin, executive director of the Mayor’s Office for Nonprofit Services. The panel will be moderated by Garrett Lucien, the vice president of the Coro New York Leadership Center.
