MANHATTAN — THREE TOP DEPUTIES TO MAYOR ERIC ADAMS had their homes searched this week, with FBI agents seizing electronic devices. The Associated Press reports that the FBI seized electronic and communications devices from homes of Deputy Mayor For Public Safety Philip Banks, First Deputy Mayor Sheena Wright and Timothy Pearson, a former high-ranking NYPD official who is a public safety advisor to the mayor. It is believed that the FBI is furthering its public corruption probe into Mayor Adams’ 2021 campaign and fundraising efforts, including the possibility of collusion with the Turkish government, 1010 WINS News reported. Just last year federal agents also seized the mayor’s phones and iPad as part of the investigation.

Subpoenas have been issued for the cellphones of NYPD Commissioner Edward Caban and other top police officials.
