Birthday bash for Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Environmental Center on Saturday

BROOKLYN BRIDGE PARK — THE ENVIRONMENTAL CENTER at Brooklyn Bridge Park is celebrating its 9th birthday with a party on Saturday, Sept. 7. All are invited for a day full of activities, crafts and surprises from 1-5 p.m. at the center, located at 99 Plymouth St. In addition to indoor educational and animal exhibits, outdoor activities include a nature walk with NYC Parks Urban Park Rangers, story time with Brooklyn Public Library at Pebble Beach and kid’s bingo with prizes.

Organizations including NYC Park Rangers, Solar 1, Battery Park City Trail Blazers and the Billion Oyster Project will be providing activity stations. View the schedule at BBP’s website.
