DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN — GET YOUR SALSA ON AT WILLOUGHBY PLAZA this evening, with live percussion and teaching from Sael Nuñez, as well as the rhythmic sensations of DJ Louie T. The event, running from 5-8 p.m., is hosted by Salsa Salsa Dance Studio, located on Fourth Avenue between Dean and Bergen Streets. Admission is free for those who want to attend. Visit its website for this event and upcoming events. Willoughby Plaza is on the east side of Adams St., near the Fulton St. intersection and adjacent to the Shake Shack.

One upcoming event at Willoughby Plaza should send participants dancing all the way to their voter registration site. Being offered on Tuesday, Sept.17, from 5-8 p.m. Dancing for Democracy celebrates National Voter Registration Day.
