Kings Plaza Shopping Center co-sponsors Back-to-School Carnival

MILL BASIN — THE KINGS PLAZA SHOPPING CENTER IN MILL BASIN is hosting a Back-to-School Carnival next Saturday, Aug. 24, to honor a new year of learning for the borough’s children. Kings Plaza, which is part of the Macerich group of commercial real estate operators and is partnering with CaribStar Radio for the event, will also donate $2,500 to a local public school. The carnival’s attractions will include games, prizes, face painters, balloon artists, music and giveaways. Plus, carnival-goers who show their same-day receipts of $50 or more from select Kings Plaza retailers will receive a backpack filled with school supplies, while supplies last. Retailers sponsoring and participating in this promotion include Old Navy, H&M, A|X Armani Exchange, Guess, Cotton On & Cotton On Kids, Clarks, Adidas, Famous Footwear, ULTA, Windsor, American Eagle Outfitters, Zumiez, Sunglass Hut, ALDO Accessories, Hot Topic, Spencer’s, The Children’s Place, Snipes, Pink, Hollister Co., Aeropostale, Kay Jewelers, Journeys Kids and Five Below.

Kings Plaza joins the 45-plus Macerich Properties and offices across the country donate over $125,000 to children’s charities this back-to-school season.
