Kidnapped girl found after police search

BROWNSVILLE — THE TEENAGE GIRL reported kidnapped on Tuesday has been located, say police. The NYPD immediately sought the public’s help in finding the girl, identified as Helen Maila Moscoso, 16, following the incident. Moscoso texted her parents that she was being abducted by two men near the Van Siclen Avenue A/C train station, and was allegedly forced into a vehicle. Surveillance footage later captured her inside the station.

Police say the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or on X @NYPDTips.
