13-year-old-girl stabbed Sunday near Barclays Center

DOWNTOWN — A 13-YEAR-OLD-GIRL was stabbed in front of Best Buy, across the street from Barclays Center in Downtown Brooklyn on Sunday evening at roughly 7:45 p.m. According to a police spokesperson, the girl was stabbed in the abdomen, and was transported by EMS to Maimonides Pediatric Hospital in stable condition. There are no arrests at this time and the investigation remains ongoing. According to abc7, police are looking for three boys between the ages of 16 and 18 years old.

In February, 13-year-old Troy Gill was shot and killed after walking home from Barclays Center after a Nets game. Sheik Koureichi, a 20-year-old believed to be a drill-style rapper, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder in the shooting.
