Nature’s Promise frozen dessert recalled for presence of undeclared cashews

NORTHEASTERN U.S. — THE FOOD & DRUG ADMINISTRATION ISSUED AN URGENT RECALL on Tuesday of Full Circle Market Coconut Milk Chocolate Almond Crunch Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert 1 Pint/16 fl.oz. paper cartons. The product, which was sold in New York, has a lid that reads “Cashew Milk” but cashew is not included in the ingredients list. G.S. Gelato was notified by one of the retail stores that the product carton and lid stated two different products. The firm conducted an investigation which determined that a single lot of pints of cashew milk product was dispensed into the Full Circle Market brand Coconut Milk pints during the manufacturing process.

Consumers with cashew allergies are urged to not eat this product.
